Children and Young People’s Taster Day

Location: Midlands Art Centre, Cannon Hill Park, Birmingham B12 9QH
Our next Children and Young People’s Taster Day will be on Sunday 20th October 2025 for children and young people (CYP) under the age of 18 who are affected by spinal cord injury, and their families. Our upcoming event is perfect for families who haven’t yet had a chance to access our services.
We’re now accepting applications to attend this event for the opportunity to learn more about the support we offer and to meet other families. We welcome families joining so come along with parents and siblings! Places are limited so we encourage you to apply early to avoid disappointment.
Children and young people
The free event will take place at the Midlands Art Centre in Birmingham between 10am – 3pm, and will offer the following:
- wheelchair skills training session
- opportunity meet our CYP staff team
- hear from some of the young people and parents who we’ve supported
- information and advice from our Education Inclusion service
- complimentary lunch
- fun afternoon activity
- goody bags to take home!
