In Summer 2020 we will be running a youth city skills course for 13-17s in Manchester!

Whatever your level of injury, you’re welcome on our youth city skills course for 13-17s. This course will help improve your confidence and independence getting around a city. It’s also a great way to meet other young people with spinal cord injury and have some fun!

The course will include indoor and outdoor wheelchair skills sessions that will give you the opportunity to become more confident in your wheelchair by learning new techniques that will be invaluable for everyday life. Manchester is also a great place to be practising your skills out and about!

The group will stay together in a local hotel and the course will include visits to some of the many attractions around the city. You’ll also get to have a go at activities such as bowling, a scavenger hunt challenge and much more. Our Youth Advisory Group have played a key role in creating content for this course so it is truly made by young people for young people!

This course will be a great chance to be part of something exciting and fun during the Summer holidays!
