13-17s City Skills Bristol course

Date: Friday 5 - Monday 8 Apr 2024
Location: Bristol

In April 2024 we will be running a youth city skills course for 13-17s in Bristol!

Whatever your level of injury, you’re welcome on our youth city skills course for 13-17s. This course will help improve your confidence and independence getting around a city. It’s also a great way to meet other young people with spinal cord injury and have some fun!

The course will include outdoor wheelchair skills sessions that will give you the opportunity to become more confident in your wheelchair by learning new techniques that will be invaluable for everyday life. Bristol is also a great place to be practising your skills out and about!

The group will stay together in a local hotel and the course will include visits to some of the attractions around the city. You’ll also get to have a go at activities such as bowling, a scavenger hunt challenge and much more.

This course will be a great chance to be part of something exciting and fun during the Easter holidays!

Course Donation

Back Up relies on the generosity of individuals and companies to fund our programme of courses. Each year we ask all course participants to make a suggested donation towards their course place.

We do understand however that everyone’s circumstances are different so making a full donation isn’t always possible. Please don’t ever let money concerns stop you from applying for one of our courses. We never allocate or refuse a course space based on your ability to make a donation.

The following recommended donation is roughly a third of the actual cost of each space:
