Front Row returns to celebrate inclusive and adaptive fashion

Back Up’s Front Row fashion show returns to London on Thursday 24 September 2026, bringing together inclusive fashion, inspiring models and an unforgettable evening at Battersea Arts Centre.

Front Row celebrates adaptive and accessible fashion while raising vital funds to support people affected by spinal cord injury.

Celebrating fashion and inclusion

Curated by fashion consultant Lisa Wisdom, Front Row will bring a diverse line-up of models to the runway, including people with spinal cord injuries who use wheelchairs and other mobility aids.

“Front Row celebrates confidence, individuality and resilience. Over the past five years I’ve seen first-hand how Back Up helps people rebuild their lives after spinal cord injury, and it’s a privilege to work with such inspiring models and be part of an event that spotlights adaptive fashion.”

Among those taking part is actor George Robinson, known for his role in the Netflix series Sex Education.

The evening will feature three catwalk shows, with adaptive and sustainable fashion from:

Designer Exchange will also join the line-up, bringing luxury pre-loved fashion to the runway.

Adaptive fashion includes thoughtful changes to clothing that can make it easier, safer and more comfortable to wear. This can include magnetic buttons, Velcro, snap fasteners and ring-pull zips, as well as clothing designed with wheelchair users in mind.

More than a fashion show

Front Row is more than a fashion show. Money raised from the evening will help Back Up provide vital services that support people affected by spinal cord injury to build confidence, make meaningful connections and reach their full potential.

“Front Row is a celebration of inclusivity and style, and we’re thrilled to have leading adaptive fashion designers showcasing their creations. More than just a fashion show, the event highlights the importance of representation and demonstrates what’s possible after spinal cord injury.”
