“I regularly have to choose between heating and eating or being able to afford to charge my chair to get out of the house’

Spinal cord injury changes your life in an instant.

Maintaining a warm and stable home environment is especially important for people living with spinal cord injury. Changes in circulation, reduced mobility, and impaired temperature regulation can make it harder to stay warm, increasing the risk of discomfort, illness, or secondary complications such as pressure injuries.

That’s why we developed our new Energy Advice service, thanks to the support of the Energy Industry Redress Scheme.

If you are worried about how to meet the costs of your energy bills, you can access dedicated support from our qualified energy advisor, either on the telephone or online in group sessions.
