Corporate Partnerships Manager

Salary: From £35,000 to £38,000 per annum dependent on experience.

Back Up is seeking a Corporate Partnerships Manager. This role will play a key part in ensuring the sustainability of Back Up, through generating income from companies – helping the charity transform even more lives affected by spinal cord injury.

The Corporate Partnerships Manager is responsible for driving and developing the Corporate Fundraising Strategy. This includes a focus on growing existing and securing new multi-year strategic partnerships, diversifying our portfolio and exploring commercial opportunities to ensure our long-term sustainability.

Back Up’s corporate partnerships currently bring in around £350k to £450k a year through a mix of sponsorship, charity of the year partnerships and corporate donations. There is significant potential for growth, and we have invested in the team to grow this income over the next 3 years.

Person specification:

• Significant charity fundraising or equivalent commercial/sales experience

• Exemplary leadership skills; able to inspire and motivate team members and volunteers

• Excellent interpersonal skills; able to engage and motivate a wide range of people

• Highly organised. Able to project manage, plan, balance and cope with competing priorities

• A commitment to quality with an eye for detail, excellent written, verbal and presentation skills

• Highly computer literate and a competent user of charity fundraising databases; able to generate reports for analysis

• Strong team working orientation; collaborative, flexible and supportive

• A creative and proactive approach to all areas of work

• Willing and able to work occasional evenings and weekends and to travel
