Summer Back to school appeal

Our Education Inclusion Service needs your help more than ever this term.

Please give what you can to support children affected by spinal cord injury back to school this September.

In just a few short weeks, the schools will reopen. During these last few months all children have experienced months of uncertainty and now there is trepidation about what school will be like in September. There will be staggered start times, teaching bubbles, and strict rules for social distancing and hygiene. An earlier start time can have a really big impact on a child with a lengthy morning routine.

With all these additional pressures on schools to ensure classes are Covid-19-safe, accessibility and inclusion may not be as high a priority as it should. Back Up are needed more than ever to ensure the voices of spinally injured children are heard right from the start of the new school term.

Our education inclusion specialists work together with schools and families to support and advise on how to ensure young people with spinal injuries are fully included in all aspects of their education.

Thank you for your generosity.
