Interspinal Unit Games promote sports to the newly injured

Salisbury Team - The winners of last year's Interspinal Unit Games

The Interspinal Unit Games, organised by Wheelpower, are held every year at Stoke Mandeville spinal centre to promote a healthy and active lifestyle through sport for people who have been paralysed in the last year.

The games feature a mix of ‘have-a-go’ sessions, allowing participants to experience a wide range of sports, as well as competitions in a range of disciplines, including archery, table tennis, bowls, swimming, handcycling and shooting.

The Inter-Spinal Unit Games are a great opportunity for people with spinal cord injury to try sports in a supported and encouraging environment.

Outreach Workers from Back Up will also be there to promote the range of activities and services offered by the charity.
