Hugely successful 25th Anniversary 'Back Up to the 80s' Ball
On Saturday 29th October, 520 guests were transported back to 1986 as we celebrated Back Up's 25th Anniversary Ball at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole.
The evening was a great success and has raised a record breaking £23,000 for Back Up. Massive thank you to everyone who came along and supported the event and who bid on auction lots and gave donations. Furthermore, it would not have been possible without the generous support of certain individuals and companies who donated fantastic items into our main and silent auctions.
Congratulations to our well deserved award winners on the night:
Lifetime achievement certificates - Konrad Bartelski, Becky Mason, Jan Monaghan, Jon Stanton, Trish Thompson
David Norman Cup for Inspirational spinal cord injured individual - Alan Cook
Sheila Ball plate for buddy of the year - Larnie Ball
